Agnes "Aggie" Verell Cassady passed away Wednesday April 7, 2021. She was born October 17, 1925 in Woodland, Mississippi to Tom and Essie Verell. She married Howard Cassady July 6, 1945 and they raised their family in Fort Worth and they later retired back home to Houston, Mississippi. She was a devoted Wife, Mother and Mema. Agnes is survived by her daughter, Penny Barrett (Ricky); daughter-in-law, Susan Cassady; grandsons James Cassady (Angela) and Bryce Barrett (Kenna); granddaughters Lilly, Presley and Layne; sister, Erin Burgess and brother Thomas Verell; nieces and nephews. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband Howard and sons Howard and Milton. Special thanks to the staff at The Vantage and Encompass Hospice for their care of Mother.
