Anne Gilmore Thomas, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 18th. Graveside Service: 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 22nd, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211. Anne was born in Dallas,TX on January 5th, 1933 to her parents Lucille and RE Gilmore. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas. She married Byron Horace Thomas in November 1951. They just celebrated 66 years of marriage. Anne worked in the insurance and financial industry for many years. She retired in 2007. Anne was an active member of the 1st Church of Christ, Scientist in Richardson. She loved her book club and the Red Hat society. Anne was survived by her husband, Horace of Dallas; her son, and daughter-in-law, Greg and Lori Thomas of Wake Forest, NC; her daughter, and son-in-law, Deborah and David McDonough of Plano, Tx. She was a doting Grandmother (Nanny) to grandchildren, Brandon and Emily Thomas, and Mitchell and Mikayla McDonough.
