Bessie Lee Banks, 93, passed away March 21, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born Oct. 16, 1931, Bessie lived a long fulfilled life. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who touched the lives of those around her with warmth and kindness.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 74 years, Floyd Banks; her daughter, Karen Slaughter; her grandchildren, Lauren Sargent and Leeah Riddle and her husband Chris Riddle; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Sargent, Isaac Sargent, Zaylen Blankenship, Abel Riddle; and her brother, Calvin Smith.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 6-8 pm at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral home. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 2 pm.

Bessie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew + loved her.
