Bettie Ruth Worthington, 85, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. Memorial Service: 3 p.m. Tuesday, at Martin Thompson & Son 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth. Bettie was born February 20, 1930 in Birmingham, Alabama to Bernard and Ruth Thompson. She lived life to the fullest. She loved music and painting. She is singing and dancing in Heaven. Survivors: Bettie is survived by her husband Claude Worthington; son, Wes Ball and wife Suzanne; step-sons, Steve Sills and wife Sheryl, and Craig Sills; sisters, Linda Harlow and Susan Brooks; grandchildren, Dana Pool and husband Forrest, Tyler Ball and wife Lauren, and Allison Ball; and great grandchild Gaines Pool.
