Billie Carol Ethley-Brookins, 72, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Services: Due to social distancing, services will be held privately. Billie was born on July 17, 1948 in Fort Worth to the parentage of Dee Etter Thomas and Arrington Ethley. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: Children, Lia Brookins, Preeya Brookins, Wilmer "Tebby" Brookins Jr.; step-children, Brenda Brookins Hall and husband Stevie, and Gregory Brookins; grandchildren, Courtney Shorts, Chasity Shorts Maxie, Mia Thigpen, Nakia Brookins Stephens, Emeshia Brookins, John Mchenry Jr., Gregory Brookins Jr., Roman Chase Brookins; two great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Gilstrap; and a host of other relatives and friends.
