Bobby Doyle Murdock, Jr., passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Memorial Gathering: December, 12, at 2:30 pm, First United Methodist Church, 422 Church Street, Grapevine, Texas. Bob was born on April 13, 1954, in Waxahachie to Bobby and Shirley Murdock. He was a proud graduate of Texas A & M, class of 1976, with a degree in Meat Science where he received numerous awards and recognitions. Bob and his wife Connie spent many exciting years working festivals and events as owners of their popular concession stands, Steak on a Stake and Jake's Cakes. He loved the outdoors, whether it is was fishing, hunting, the lake, the beach or the mountains. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bob was preceded in death by his father Bobby Doyle Murdock, Sr. Survivors: Wife, Connie Lowry Murdock; sons, Jake Murdock and Matt Aguirre of California; granddaughters, Alana & Brooklyn Aguirre; mother, Shirley Murdock; brothers, Mike Murdock and wife Janie, and Terry Murdock; sisters, Tami Kelley and husband Lynn, and Trina Beshears and husband Ken; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
