Carmen Dolores Womble, 88, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Memorial: Pending, St Joseph Catholic Residence, 330 W Pembroke Ave, Dallas, TX. Interment: Pending, Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Carmen was born on July 31, 1927 in Sanford, FL to Fredrick and Parmenia Valdez y Testar Michaels. She worked for over 25 years for the Dallas Times Herald. Carmen was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved to take care of her family. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Womble; brother, Charles Michaels; and her grandsons, Marty Womble, Gordon Womble and Ivan Womble. Survivors: Children, Mitch Womble and wife Pamela, Steve Womble, Cindy Billman and husband Chuck, Theresa Powell and husband Blake, Jim Womble, and Fred Womble and wife Cheryl; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
