Clinta Hoban, 89, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Arborlawn United Methodist Church, 5001 Briarhaven Rd, Ft. Worth, where a visitation will take place from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Clinta was born on December 7, 1927 in Big Spring, Texas to L O and Lucille Wallace. She was a longtime member of Westcliff United Methodist Church and Arborlawn United Methodist Church. Clinta played the piano and was a Piano major at Texas Wesleyan College. Clinta liked ball room and square dancing, traveling and she aspired to write children's books. She was a member of the Church Womans Group, and wrote the news letters. Clinta was preceded in death by her son, Richard Luker. Survivors; Husband, David Hoban; daughters, Deborah Campbell and Carol McFarlin and their father, Milton Luker; son, Philip Luker; grandchildren, Michael Thornton, Matthew Thornton, Corey Luker, Aaron Luker, Brandie Darnell, and April Doss; nine great grandchildren; and extended family.
