Clinton Alturo Sprauve, 90, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015.

Service: 11:00 am Friday, Destiny Church, 3508 Blue Springs Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76123.

Visitation 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133.

Interment: 2:00 pm Friday, Lane A, Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Clinton was born on October 18, 1924 in St. Thomas, Virgin Island on October 18, 1924 to Edward Sprauve and Evelyn Dawson. He retired after 29 years of service from the United States Army. Clinton enjoyed playing poker, watching baseball, music and dancing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vickey Sprauve; his children, Denise Morón and husband Paul, Wayne Sprauve and wife Ursula, Deborah Martin, Bronwyn Parker, Mariel Sprauve-Goodman and husband Kenneth, Tina McNeil and husband James, Clinton Sprauve, II and wife Chanti, Aisha Quarterman, James Taylor, and Tracy Taylor and wife Cynthia; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
