Connie Jean Hudson, 72, passed away July 17, 2016. Graveside service: 9:30 a.m., Saturday at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth. Memorial service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Drive, Fort Worth. Connie was born August 13, 1943 in Dallas, Texas to Walter and Evelyn Darr, Jr. She loved teaching. Connie taught elementary school in Fort Worth and Weatherford, spending part of that time teaching 6th grade math and science. She enjoyed tole painting, quilting, and loved wildflowers. Survivors: Husband, James Hudson; daughter, Michele Hudson; son, David Hudson and wife Anita; grandchildren, Tawni Hudson and Garrett Hudson; brother, Ronald L. Darr and wife Dian; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
