Cynthia Gilmore, 99, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Cynthia was born on May 16, 1919 in Marshall, Texas to Robert Lee and Myrtle Marcus Spencer. She was a long time member of Alsbury Baptist Church. Through the years she taught Sunday School and later in life taught Bible lessons at a Burleson nursing home. Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gilmore. Survivors: Children, Ike Gilmore and wife, Sue, Bill Gilmore, and Deborah Simmons and husband, Dwane; grandchildren, Michelle Gregory, Shannon Simmons and Landon Simmons; great-grandchildren, Levi Gregory, Abigail Gregory, Bo Simmons, and Ella Simmons; brother, R. L Spencer and wife, Dorothy; sister-in-law, Martha Spencer; and nephew, Chuck Spencer and wife, Sandra.
