Dala Faye Logan (Gates), 73, of Weatherford, TX, passed away on March 19th, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her son Jeffrey Logan's home in Decatur, TX on April 5th, 2025. Dala will be cremated as per her wishes. Thompson & Son Funeral Home will be handling her cremation.

Dala was born in Oklahoma to Don Gates and Hazel Cockrum on September 8th, 1951.

Dala lived a life filled with kindness, devotion, and an unwavering love for her family.

Dala loved her pug, Ozzy, and enjoyed playing games, from checkers and backgammon to card games and video games.

Her playful spirit brought joy to those around her.

Her love, wisdom, and laughter will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.

Dala is survived by her children Jeffrey Logan, Skyler Logan, and Kimberly "Tammy" Barberich, her sister Donna Underwood and brother Thomas Hester, her grandchildren Celena Barberich, Evaliya Barberich, Kylie Barberich, Sophie Logan, Trey Huber, William Logan, Daryl Logan, and Austin Logan. She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Logan, her father Don Gates, her mother Hazel Cockrum, and her brother Galen Hester.
