Dan Rambo was born on June 2, 1935, in Fort Smith, Arkansas and passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017. Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Marty Leonard Chapel, 3131 Sanguinet St., Fort Worth, TX 76107. Should friends desire, donations may be made in his honor to SPCA or Humane Society. Dan earned a Masters of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina in 1966; a Bachelor of Architecture from Texas A&M in 1958 and graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1953. He was a passionate lover of animals; especially dogs. Survivors: His wife of almost 62 years, Angela Cowan Rambo; daughters, Kimberly Rambo and husband Raymond Bland; Dana Rambo Arnett and husband Tom Arnett; Jamie Rambo; grandchildren Jacob, Kathryn and Thomas; great-grand children Dylan and Jackson.
