Darlene Rees, 88, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. Service: 10 am Friday, Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery Lane A. Visitation: 6 pm - 8 pm Thursday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home. Darlene was born May 3, 1927 in Forestburg, Texas. She loved to cheer on the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys with her many friends. She was Preceded in death by her husband, William R. Rees and her daughter, Diane Olsen. Survivors: Daughters, Donna D. Rees and Karen Myers and husband Pete; sons, Mike Penton and wife Kathy and Steve Penton and wife Nancy; sister, Barbara Hoover; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
