Dennis Ray Mitchell, 57, passed away on July 24, 2026, at his home.

Born on August 1, 1968, to Bill and Edith Mitchell, Dennis was a proud lifelong resident of Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1987. He enjoyed spending time at the shooting range, watching movies, and no one was a match for his sci-fi knowledge.

He lived a quiet life but enjoyed time with the ones he loved. He may have been known as a gentle giant to many but had an unmistakable booming laugh that will be terribly missed.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and sister Susan Mitchell.

He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Harlow (Tom) and Sherri Clark (Dale); his nephews, Christopher Harlow (Kimi), Curtis Harlow (Rose), and Michael Clark; his nieces, Kelly Prickett, Amy Fernengel (Kyle), Laura Hernandez (Scott), and Hannah Malott (Joe); devoted friends, Mickey and Elaine Hill; 19 great nieces and nephews; 9 great-great nieces and nephews; and many caring family and friends.
