Donald Norwood, 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

Visitation: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022, Chapel of Fellowship Church, 2450 N Hwy 121. Grapevine, TX 76051.

Service: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Chapel of Fellowship Church.

Interment: Rolling Oaks Cemetery, Coppell.

Donald was born on February 11, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Mamie and William Norwood. He worked at Sears before opening his own Design and Dimension Architecture Firm. Donald enjoyed playing golf and was a loyal friend. He played basketball for the Virginia Squires ABA team and later coached softball and baseball. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors: Wife, Lavone Norwood; daughter, Deana Costa and husband Eric; son, Damion Norwood and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Daylan Norwood, Jazlyn Norwood, Alana Costa and Kyla Costa; sister, Beverly Williams and husband Sonny; and a host of extended family and friends.
