Doris Bratton Knapp, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, June 14th, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday June 2019 at The Westmore Senior Living, 25 Leonard Trail, Westworth Village, TX 76114. Memorials: In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Doris was born February 18th, 1933 in Arrowrock, Missouri, the eldest of four children. Doris lived in many beautiful parts of the United States while she raised her family and finally settled in Farmers Branch, Texas. Doris loved to travel and belonged to several social groups including the Glass Club and The Red Hat Society. Doris was known for her kindness, loyalty, and her love and commitment to her family. She always had a smile on her face and was always welcoming. Pets were a big part of the family to Doris and her affection for her cats was well known. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg Knapp. Survivors: Doris is survived by her daughter, Cindy Upton and her husband, Bill; son, Greg Knapp; daughter, Jennifer Hutson and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Sara, Ryan, Kyle, Jacquelyn, Marlowe and Layne; and great grandchildren, Annika and Greg; sister, Jean Ballard; and brother, Ray Bratton.
