Douglas Carter age 48 died on January 20, 2021 in Fort Worth, TX. Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Graveside Service: 1:15 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211. Douglas was born at Hendrick Medical Center in 1972. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1989. He served the United States by joining the Navy. Douglas' passion was God, his family, dogs and genealogy. He also enjoyed painting and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Andrew Carter Sr. and Linda Sue Burnett. Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Starr Carter; and two devoted children, Olivia G Carter and Connor F Carter; siblings, Franklin Andrew Carter Jr., Lisa K White and Truett Michael Carter; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
