Douglas Greif, 76, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on August 17, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Douglas lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be remembered for his warm heart, gentle spirit, sense of humor, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Beatriz Sutherland; children, Laura Hunter and husband, Robert, Sarah Davis and husband, John, and David Greif; grandchildren, Cameron Hunter, Kyle Hunter, Madeline Hunter, Meredith Hunter, Dylan Davis; and great-grandchild, Henry Hunter. He also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends who will deeply miss him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited, called, and offered prayers, love, and support during Douglas’s final days. Your kindness and compassion brought great comfort to him and to those who loved him.

In accordance with Douglas’s wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared once arrangements have been finalized.

Douglas’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
