Edward Milton Scoggin was born August 24, 1940 and passed away July 30, 2020. In 1964 he and Beth Robnett were married and have lived these 56 years happily. Ed was a kind and wonderful husband who graciously ate everything Beth cooked for him, without complaint. He was very easy to live with, keeping the house joyful with his sense of humor and gracious heart.
Ed graduated from Duncanville High School in 1958, attended North Texas State, and became a Marine reservist in July, 1959. He owned and operated Scoggin Plumbing/Duncanville Mechanical for 30 years and had a crew of plumbers and air conditioning mechanics working with him. He sold his business to Sala Air Conditioning in Dallas and worked for them in sales until his retirement. After retiring, he spent his time relaxing and volunteering at the St Vincent De Paul Food pantry and participating as a citizen on patrol. He was a member of St Bart's, starting in 2010, but a practicing Catholic transferring from Holy Spirit in Duncanville before moving to Ft Worth.
As a parent, Ed was loving, kind and supportive of whatever his children and grandchildren wanted in life. He was a proud dad and granddad who loved to share his family's achievements. His phone was full of photos of his family. Ed will be greatly missed.
