Effie Mae Smith, 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Effie was born on March 30, 1924 in Oklahoma to Burl and Wealtha Maddux. She married Forrest Smith on November 19, 1947 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Effe enjoyed gardening, container planting, reading and crossword puzzles. Effie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Forrest Smith and her brother, Calvin Maddux.
