Elizabeth Marie Brand, born on September 7, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, at her home in Fort Worth, Texas.

A dedicated registered nurse, Elizabeth spent her early life caring for others with compassion and grace. In 1979, she made the significant move to Fort Worth, where she stopped practicing nursing to focus her time and energy on her four children, and later to her six grandchildren, to whom she was devoted.

Elizabeth was a beloved mother and grandmother and cherished by her many friends. She is survived by her loving sister, Marianne Reid; her son, Peter Brand, and his husband, Glenn; her daughters Marianne Bell and her husband Matt; Ann-Elaine Abell and her husband Jeffrey; and Frances Withaeger and her husband Gary; and her cherished grandchildren Marshall, Riley, Nicholas, Ryan, Christopher, and Megan.

The family will hold a private celebration of life to honor Elizabeth's memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the SPCA, reflecting Elizabeth's love for animals and her compassionate spirit.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community will always be remembered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
