Eula Buelter, 95, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 Service: 11 am Saturday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth Visitation: 10 am - 11 m Saturday, Martin Thompson & Son Eula was born on October 27, 1921 in Springfield, IL to Chandler Russell and Lula May Fawcett. After graduating from Springfield High School, Eula joined the United States Navy during WWII where she deciphered encrypted communication from Japanese and German ships. Eula married her Navy sweetheart Wallace J Dickinson, while they were in the Navy. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and was an active member of Westside Christian Church in Springfield, IL. She retired to Texas in the early 80's and has enjoyed a full life with her grandchildren since. Survivors: Daughter, Sharon Williams; grandchildren, Jaclyn Casillas, and Ashley Mathis; great-grandchildren, Hunter Casillas, Juliana Casillas and Sidney Mathis.
