Franklin McIntyre, 81, passed away January 11, 2015. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Ft. Worth. Franklin was born on February 16, 1934 in Rogers, AR. He was valedictorian of his high school. Franklin worked with fiberglass all of his career and even helped design the first fiberglass bass boat. Survivors: Wife of 32 years Betty McIntyre; children, Charles McIntyre, Terri Burton, Darrell McIntyre, Terry Posey, Jeff Posey and Elizabeth Ingle; brother, Robert McIntyre; sister, Shirley Tate; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
