Obituary

Gary Don Bradley, 62, of Fort Worth, TX, after a lengthy illness, took the Lord's hand and went home on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Services: A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., River Oaks, TX 76114. Gary was born in the car on the way to the hospital in Wichita Falls, TX on June 12, 1959. He would say that was probably the reason he became a master auto mechanic. Gary was not only a natural mechanic, but he could also repair just about anything. He was also proficient at carpentry, plumbing and electrical. If he did not know how to fix it, he would figure it out. He also had a slight artistic side, realizing at a young age he could look at a picture and then draw it. Gary was quick-witted and loved to see how long it would take you to catch what he said. He was always saying something funny. Gary loved cars, motorcycles, trucks, tools, tv repair shows, grilling BBQ, eating hot sauce, mountains, dogs, and listening to good electric guitar music. Gary desired to one day live in the country and believed everyone should own a truck because "you always need a truck". Gary loved his family but above all Gary loved his mom and rarely did he end a conversation with her without saying "I love you mom". We love you and will miss you tremendously, but we will see you again. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. We will meet you at the Eastern Gate. He is preceded in death by his dad, grandparents, and aunt. Gary is survived by his mother, Mary Cotter; children, Tiffany Hughes, Brittany Bradley, Shawna Emery, David Bradley; grandchildren; and siblings, Yvonne Lynn Bradley, Tanya Hernandez, Vanessa Ruiz, Rhonda Walton, and Larry Bradley.
