Gary Michael Gattis, of Stephenville, Texas, passed away on June 13, 2024.

Gary was born in Paducha, Kentucky on August 28, 1955, to Billy Morris Gattis and Margaret Ann Redden Gattis, Survived by Carl Gattis his younger brother. Gary served in the Army from February of 1975 to June 1985.

Gary is survived by wife Janis Shoot Gattis of Stephenville, TX. Gary was very Proud of his bonus children as he called them, Tonya & Kevin Delk of Brady, TX, Kimberly & William Riggs of Splendora, TX, Jeannie & Mike Hennington of Brady, TX, Heili Cornett preceded in death Jason Cornett of Brady, TX, Autumn Shoot of Weatherford, TX and Edward & Allison Shoot of Stephenville, Tx. Gary was a loving Papa to 22 grandkids and 8 great grandkids.

Those that knew him loved him. Gary was kindhearted, always putting in laughter in any situation and would have done anything for those he loved. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held for Gary on June 22 at 10:00 AM. The celebration will take place at Vision Heights Church of God (300 Menard Hwy, Brady, TX 76825).
