Gary Don Hampton passed away at the age of 72 after a brave fight against colon cancer. He died at his home in Arlington, TX on July 17, 2024.

He was born on May 2, 1952 and was raised in Crowley, TX by his parents, Bill and Delores. Gary married Diana Jarvis in 1978, and they had two children, Lindsay and Drew. Some of Gary's favorite memories were family trips to the beach in Galveston.

A musician from a young age, Gary was also a talented singer, songwriter, and audio engineer, making most of his closest friends in the TV and music businesses.

Gary and Diana, who was a visual artist and teacher, remained married until Diana's passing in October of 2022. Lindsay and Drew are grateful to have inherited their parents' artistic skills.

He will be remembered for his intellectual curiosity, passion, loyalty, generosity, and never-ending sense of humor.

Gary is survived by his sister and brothers - Linda, Phil (wife Carol), and Gerald; his children - Lindsay (husband Nathan) and Drew (wife Grace); and his grandchildren - Jonas, KJ, and Quinn.
