Gilbert Rodriguez, 81, passed away July 15, 2016. Memorial Mass: 10:30 a.m., Thursday at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 3312 Dryden Rd, Fort Worth with a rosary beginning at 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Should you desire, memorials can be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church. Gilbert was born Aug. 1, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Armando and Jovita Rodriguez. He was married 61 years. He retired with 30 years of Federal Government service and 19 years of military service. Gilbert liked to stay busy and was a "Jack of all Trades". He collected coins and took great care of his Cadillacs, making sure they shined. He was proceeded in death by his son, Gilbert, Jr. and son-in-law, Tony Gaitan. He is survived by wife, Frances Rodriguez; daughters, Theresa Gaitan, Joann Wilde and husband Bill; son, Robert Rodriguez and wife Beatriz,9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
