Obituary

Gordon Jay Kuhne, loving husband, father, and grandfather, made his transition from this life on June 7th, 2021. Gordon was born in Fort Worth on July 17, 1955, to Jesse W. Kuhne and Esther N. Annis. After graduating from Paschal High School and the University of North Texas, he created several businesses. Throughout his life he visited five continents, with a particular interest in Asia and South America, where Gordon pursued his love for adventure and unending passion for sacred antiquities. He is best known for his Sacred Singing Bowl business, which included Tibetan singing bowls, Peruvian whistle vessels and many other rare, sacred items. Gordon was known by all as a kind and generous Soul who thought of life as a Spiritual Journey. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sue; his son Dylan Kuhne and daughter Trisha Ray; daughter-in-law Paige; his grandsons Layton and Landon and granddaughter Sabine; also by his brother David Kuhne and sister-in-law Lynn Risser. The family is planning a gathering to celebrate Gordon's life for the diverse spiritual community that was so dear to him. Those who would like to be notified of this celebration; please send your name and contact info to: gordonjai@gmail.com
