Guadalupe "Lupita" Puentes, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Justin, 402 W 8th St, Justin, TX 76247.

Born on July 14, 1948, in Brownsville, Texas, Lupita was the beloved daughter of Andres and Julia Puentes. Raised in Los Fresnos, Texas, she embodied a strong-willed, feisty, and hard-working spirit. Lupita had a passion for antiquing in flea markets, always on the hunt for hidden treasures to restore. She also cherished camping trips in Colorado, embracing the beauty of nature.

Preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Julia.

She is survived by her children, Ana Rodriguez, Michael Garcia, and Audrey Puentes; her grandchildren, Bobby, Cynthia, Andrew, Alex, Isabel, Vincent, and Edison; and eight great-grandchildren.

Lupita's vibrant spirit and love touched the hearts of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
