Harriet Jeannette Waller "Terry"

November 14, 1937 - April 06, 2024

Our beloved, Terry, age 86 gained her wings on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Terry was born Harriet Jeannette Cain in Summit, New Jersey to Burnette Hoffman and Alice Susan (Gifford) Cain.

Alice passed away in NJ when Terry was 11. Both Bud and Al the older brothers had enlisted in the military, she and Don were picked up by their father and taken to Hollywood, CA. Terry and Don were raised in a boarding home and visited Dad on the weekends. She graduated from Hollywood High School.

Terry married Billy Deane Middleton April 30, 1955, and had 2 children Victoria Susan "Vickie" and Teresa Ann "Tammy". After a divorce Terry married the love of her life, James L. Jenkins, and had Cynthia K "Cindy". He was in the Air Force, and they moved every 2 years during his career. They lived in CA, NM, WY, NJ, TX and more locations.

Terry began her career with Bell Telephone Co. as a telephone information operator and retired working in the computer office. After retirement Terry couldn't sit at home and worked at a bookstore, a travel agency and helped take care of a lady she met in a grocery store.

For fun Terry loved traveling to Hawaii and England, reading, and going to dances.

In the latter part of Terry's life, she bought a home in Albuquerque, NM and lived by herself until she was 84. After a fall she moved to TX so family could take care of her. Her heart was always in NM.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Burnette H. Cain Jr. "Bud", Alfred Cain "Al" and Don Cain and her daughter Cynthia K.

Terry is survived by her daughters, Victoria Anzaldua (David) of Crowley, TX and Teresa Ring of Keller, TX; grandchildren, Bobbie James Baker of Alvarado TX, Caitlin A. Ring of Keller TX, Luke Skiba of Arizona and Elizabeth Skiba of Arizona
