Helen was born June 21, 1933, to Hattie Mae & Bill Ramsey. To this union, Helen had 3 brothers, Bill Jr., Frederick, Don Albert, and 1 sister, Lena. She attended school in the FWISD, graduating from the historic I.M. Terrell High School in 1951. She continued her education at Tyler Jr. College and the University of Southern California. On July 8, 1968, she married the love of her life Willie Sr. Together they raised 3 kids, Milton, Karen and William Jr. Helen was an avid reader and a member of several book and reading clubs. She passed her love of reading to anyone she knew. On August 30 she read her final chapter. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; and siblings. Helen left behind her most beautiful and precious stories; husband of 50 years, Willie Sr.; sons, Milton and wife, Pamela, and William Jr.; daughter, Karen and husband, Tyrone; grandchildren, Domeniq, Ciara, Amber, Jade and Tyrone; great-grandchildren, Laura, Jada, Leah, McKenzie and Tristan; and a special family friend who's bond was more like a sister lasting 60 years, Mozella Hogan.
