James H. Wilson Sr. was born December 26, 1946 in Marlin, TX.  He went home to be with The Lord on Saturday May 31, 2025 in Arlington, TX.

James was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Marlin, TX.  Afterwards, he joined the US Navy and served in the Vietnam War.  He also earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarrant County College. James worked for Texas Refinery Corp, and retired from the US Postal Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sue Willie Wilson and Bernice Tiller Brown; grandparents Dave and Goldie Tiller; sister, Rose Mary Wilson; and brother, Kirby Wilson, Sr.

James is survived by his two children; daughter, Angela Wilson, and son James Wilson Jr; granddaughter, Miracle Wilson; brothers, Richard Wilson, Charlie Wilson(Liane), and Clayton Wilson, sisters, Ruby Hughes and Hazel Marie Sanders (John), as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Interment: 11:00 am Friday, June 13, 2025 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas TX 75211
