Jane Marie McCallum McLain, 84, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Service: 11 am Saturday, Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd. Jane was born on November 27, 1936 in Detroit, MI to Martha and Wilbert McCallum. She loved gardening, puzzles, watching old movies, antiquing, going to lunch, and taking her grandkids to Starbucks. Jane graduated from North Texas State College with a bachelor's degree in education and was an Elementary School Teacher for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time on Lake Huron with her family and visiting light houses along the Great Lakes. Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors: Children, James McLain, Holly McLain King and husband Ross, and Robert McLain and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Emily King, Megan King, Ryan King, Connor McLain, and Grant McLain.
