Jessie B. Horton, 90, of Aledo Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 27, 2015. Graveside Service: 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Brown Cemetery 1231 FM 1187 Aledo, Texas. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth. Mrs. Horton was born June 2, 1925 in Cedar Hill Texas. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University and held both a BA and Master's Degrees in physical education. Mrs. Horton started her career in Rendon Texas with the Rendon independent school district and retired from the Arlington school District after devoting more than 30 years in the education field. She was preceded in death by her husband Barton G Horton and her daughter Jessie Horton Lancaster and one Grandson Jared J Horton. Survivors: 3 siblings, 3 sons, 13 grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
