Joan (JoAnne) Parks Jourde, 90, passed peacefully at home on Friday, May 10, 2024.

She was born February 12, 1934 in Herkimer, New York to Vernon and Viola Parks. She graduated high school in Ilion, NY then attended Sam Houston State University. She married Jules Jourde July 17, 1955.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Geraine Reynolds and Carol Servello; and daughter, Jolie Jourde.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Jourde Williams and her husband Ken of Lubbock; son, Austin Jourde and his wife Maia of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Kimberly Davis and her husband Austin of Houston and Kallie Williams of Lubbock; grandsons, Devin Jourde of Neptune Beach, Florida and Dillon Jourde of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and great-grandchildren, Caroline and Carter.

Joanne also leaves brothers, Bradley and Jerry Parks; sister, Murrie McBride all of Tomball; and many nieces and nephews.
