Joe Rodriguez, 59, passed away April 29, 2015. Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Martin Thompson & Son. Rosary 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Joe was born December 24, 1955 in Rosebud, Texas, to Luciano and Simona Rodriguez. He loved dancing to Cumbia and Country Western music. Joe also enjoyed sports. He supported all the local teams, like the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers, but his favorite team was the Dallas Mavericks. On Saturdays, you could also find him cheering on the University of Texas Longhorns, but the most important thing to Joe was his family. Survivors: Wife, Margaret Rodriguez; sons, Robert Phillips and Stephen Gracey; daughter, Laura Gracey; brothers, Clifford Rodriguez, Luciano Rodriguez Jr., Maximo Rodriguez, and Edward Rodriguez; sisters, Juanita Gonzales, Sebastina Lopez, Simona Gonzales, and Margarita Villanueva; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
