John B. Sullivan Sr., 71, passed away on October 21, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas TX. John was born to Eugene Blake and Justine "Judy" Sullivan on December 13, 1945 in London, England. He was raised in Hempstead, NY and after graduation, joined the U.S. Air Force. He resided in Fort Worth, Texas and Wiesbaden, Germany while on active duty. Upon discharge, he returned to the Fort Worth area where he attended TCJC and UTA. He was employed by the U.S. Postal System and retired in 2005. John enjoyed the outdoors, camping, wind surfing, traveling, and most of all being with family and his six grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered for his sense of humor and and love of travel and life. He leaves behind a daughter, Debbie Kerrigan and husband, Kurt, a son, John B. Sullivan and wife, Petya and six grandchildren, Keaton Kerrigan, Kevin Kerrigan, Kyle Kerrigan, Zoey Sullivan, William Sullivan, and Connor Sullivan.
