Johnny Pruitt, 67, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. Service: 3 p.m. Thursday, Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX 76133. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, stjude.org/Donate. Johnny was born on August 28, 1949 in Red River County to Clarence and Johnnie Elaine Pruitt. He enjoyed fishing, smoking meat and music. His children, grandchildren and his dog Otis were everything to him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cheryl Pruitt; brother, Clarence Pruitt; sister, Peggy Smyers; and his angel puppy, Annie. Survivors: Children, Chairty Cook and husband Jason, Faith Roberts and husband Justin, Bryan Pruitt and wife Bobbie, and Chris Pruitt and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Jessica McFarland and husband Josh, Shian Thomas and husband Tim, John Curtis Taylor, Levi Pruitt, Hayden Roberts, and Lexi Cook; great grandchildren, Addye, Andye, Ambrye, Cannon, and Allye; brothers, Kenneth Pruitt and wife Barbara, Norman Pruitt and wife Vicki, and David Pruitt and wife Marci; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
