Jon Reginald "Reggie" Maurice, 61, rode off into the sunset on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Memorial Service: Saturday, June 7th, 10:30am, Church at the Crossing, Aledo, TX Reggie was born on July 6, 1952 in Fort Worth to Charles and Emma Letta Maurice. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, Pappaw and friend. Reggie was often found taking in a western movie, especially if it was a John Wayne film. He loved to tinker around the garage, was an avid history buff and was a high school football fanatic. Reggie retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department after 21 years and before serving the public, owned his own masonry construction company. Reggie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Reggie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stormy Maurice, sister Judy Bowden, and niece Jan Cowan. Survivors: Wife, Pattie Maurice; children, Jason Maurice and his wife Kippy, Emmalee Jones and her husband Bryan, and Justin Maurice and his wife Ashleigh; grandchildren, Jack, Caroline and Emmalyn Maurice, and Bennett and Ebby Jones and many nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
