The Precious Lord took the hand of Joni Ames, 62, and peacefully led her home on February 19, 2021 with family by her side. She was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas in 1976. She later worked at Alcon and was retired. One of her great loves were books, cats, Archie comic books, soap operas and chocolate. She had a special love for her nieces and nephew. She shared a lot of great times an adventures with them. She had 8 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Juliet Ames of Arlington, Texas. Survivors: those left to cherish her memory are sisters Jill Clark of Millsap, Texas and Jan Wisdom of Kennedale, Texas. Nephew Glenn Wisdom Jr, Nieces Angela Wills and Christy Barnes and their families Aunt and Uncle Bill and Debroah Walker.
