To our stepfather:

There are people who come into our lives without making a sound, but over time they become an irreplaceable part of them. You were one of those people.

Thank you for having come into our family, for opening your heart and embracing as your own some children who needed your guidance, your protection and your love. Thank you for fighting every day to move them forward.

You were a noble and generous man, always willing to help anyone in need without expecting anything in return. Your kindness and your heart left a mark on all of us who were fortunate enough to know you.

Perhaps we told you too late how important you were to us and how much you meant to our lives. But today we want you to know that we did see it, that we did feel it and that we will always carry you in our hearts.

Thank you for taking care of our mom, for giving her your love and for every moment shared. Thank you for the legacy of kindness you left in all of us.

Today it hurts to say goodbye to you, but it also fills us with peace to know that you rest without pain. Your memory will live forever in our family and in the lives, you touched with your nobility and your love.
