Joseph Richard Normand, of Springtown, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2024.

Joe was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 4, 1949, to Spencer R. Normand and Ruth Dutton. He attended St. Andrew's School, Southwest High School and Tarrant County Junior College. He loved dogs, and was interested in all animals, insects, and the outdoors. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. He was employed as a machinist and tool-grinder until his retirement.

Joe is survived by his wife of 19 years Jeanette Normand, his son Spencer James Normand, his beloved dogs Fiona, Chloe and Scrappy, younger sister Donna Normand Dutton (Juan Martinez), niece Alicia Crowder Boughton (Shane Boughton) great-niece Caitlin Boughton, great-nephew Hunter Boughton, nephew Christian Crowder (Michelle Crowder), and great-nephews Grayson Crowder and Braydon Crowder.

Joe is preceded in death by his older sister, Nancy Normand Crowder, and parents Spencer and Ruth Normand, grandparents Joseph and Estelle Normand and Henry and Addie Dutton.
