Ken Mize went home to heaven on May 20, 2020. Born in Fisher County, he is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alice, their two children, Kendard Mize II and Sondra & Roger Lehman, and two grandchildren - Brian & Miranda Lehman that he adored. Ken could talk to anyone (and often did). He was born with a love for fishing and dogs, and spoke fondly of both during his final weeks. He enjoyed working on cars, especially building and showing custom built street rods before Alzheimer's. He loved family vacations in the RV, camping & fishing any chance he had. His favorite trips were cruises to Alaska, Cuba and the Caribbean, and family trips to Mexico. Ken worked in the oil & gas industry in Monahans, Texas and in a similar management role in Ahwaz, Iran. Iran was the starting point for many family international travels across Europe & the Middle East. Ken will be laid to rest in a lakeside cemetery where he enjoyed fishing and living for many years. The family would like donations to be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
