Krunoslav "Kruno" Lekic, 75, passed away on January 31, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. Kruno, as he was affectionately known by, was born to Marko and Kata Lekic, on February 22, 1947, in Vares, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kruno moved to Split, Croatia in 1992 where he spent five years before moving to Texas, USA to escape war and provide a better life for his children. He spent a majority of his career working as a mechanic in Europe (Bosnia, Croatia, and Iraq) and the last 25+ years as a carpenter (custom cabinetry) in Texas. He was devoted and diligent in his profession, and enjoyed life to the fullest. He took great pride in providing for his family, caring deeply for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Radmila "Mila" Lekic; daughter, Lina Lekic; son, Srdjan Lekic; granddaughters, Kayleigh Hamilton and Kylie Howell-Lekic; sisters, Tereza Jonica and Lucija Zlovic; brothers, Tugomir and Slavko Lekic; and extended family and friends.
