Lenard Quay Rond, 61, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Visitation: 6 pm – 8 pm Friday, Santa Fe Baptist Church, 1502 Santa Fe Dr, Weatherford. Service: 1 pm Saturday, Santa Fe Baptist Church. Interment: Occupy #1 Cemetery, Pitkin, Louisiana. Lenard was born on May 9, 1957 in New Orleans to Wilmer Lee and Helen Marie Rond. He enjoyed Boat Racing, Bull Riding, Crawfish festivals, rafting down the Guadalupe. Most important was his relationship with God. Lenard was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a devoted member of Santa Fe Baptist Church. Lenard loved to spend time with his family and friends. Lenard was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Marie Rond, brother, Roger Rond, and sister, Cynthia Rond Dalton. Survivors: Father, Wilmer Lee Rond; daughter, Staci Pippin and husband Greg; grandchildren, Kasey Woods and Madie Pippin; sisters, Sharon Boswell, Rebecca Dowdy, and Vicky Alford; brother, Gordy Rond; and extended family.
