Lillian May DiBenedetto, age 72, of Alvarado, Texas, passed away on June 29, 2017. She was born to the late Mary Katherine Traklas and George Traklas in Manchester, New Hampshire on January 13, 1945. Lilly attended Rivier College in Nashua, NH and graduated from Central High School in Manchester. Lilly lovingly devoted her life to her family as a stay at home mother and homemaker. Family and friends were Lilly's passion and delight. She lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved holidays, hosting parties, nature watching, taking in animals and traveling. She was an avid reader of biographies and enjoyed watching The Animal Planet. Her favorite guilty pleasure was Butterfingers which were snuck to her during all hospital stays. Lilly welcomed in all strangers as family and it was hard not to lover her. Lilly is survived by her husband, Charlie DiBenedetto, her children Tim DiBenedetto (wife Rachel DiBenedetto), Tony DiBenedetto (wife Casey DiBenedetto) and Brandi Hunt (husband Taylor Hunt). Lilly leaves behind her three grandchildren – Miranda DiBenedetto, Dominick DiBenedetto and Sadie Hunt. Lilly is also survived by her only sibling: Mary Elizabeth Gilmartin. A Celebration of Life will be held at her home for family and close friends. There will not be a service or viewing. The family ask that a donation be made to The World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) or World Vision in lieu of flowers.
