Linda K
Woodson
Apr 1, 1956 — Dec 13, 2022
Linda Kay Woodson, 66, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
Linda was born April 1,1956, on an Easter Sunday in Fort Worth, to the late Walter and Nellie Byars. She was the seventh of nine children.
Linda graduated from Green B. Trimble Technical High School in 1975. In 1993, she married her husband, Willis Avon Woodson and had two sons who she loved dearly. She believed her greatest accomplishment in life, was becoming a mother. She loved spending time with family, traveling, playing in the snow and going to the beach. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching "I Love Lucy", "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Everybody Loves Raymond". Her faith in God was unwavering and consistent, even in life's obstacles.
On December 13, 2022, at 4:51 PM, Linda passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Nellie Byars; her husband Willis A. Woodson; and brothers: Bobby G. Byars, Larry E. Byars, and Earnest B. Grismore.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories: sons, Bobby Woodson and Jessie Woodson; brothers, Henry Grismore Jr. (Beverly Joyce), Paul Byars Sr. (Jackie); sisters, Betty Lewis, Brenda Byars, and Gloria Bey (Jonathan); sister-in-law, Mary Grismore; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Because of her faith, we believe that she has been reunited with her loved ones that went on before her, and we too shall meet them at God's appointed time.
