Loretta Pauline Caro, 90, passed away January 21, 2017 in Arlington, TX. Private Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 6009 Wedgwood Dr., Fort Worth, TX. Loretta was born on August 21, 1926 in Canandaigua, NY to Thorough and Ruth Cole. Upon getting married, she moved to Buffalo, NY where she began her family. While raising a flourishing family on the West Side of Buffalo, she also worked for many years at the Meyer Hospital (Erie County Medical Center). After she retired, Loretta took pride in her work as a volunteer at the City Mission of Buffalo. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Loretta is preceded in death by her daughter Rosemarie Millian, husband Frank, brother Thurston and her sisters Ramona and Esther. She leaves a large family to cherish her memory and the loving example that she set for all of us: daughter, Ruth M. Gavadin (David); grandchildren Jim Speaker (Darcy), Frank Speaker, Joe Speaker, Jim Witmer (Sumbule), Todd Witmer (Michele), Katie Hazalet, Richard Gavadin, Kayla Gavadin, Michael Gavadin and Jessica Gavadin; and as many wonderful great-grandchildren as there are stars in the sky.
