Mariannne Wheatcroft-Pardue, 64, died in hospice on July 4th after a long illness. Visitation: A visitation will be at La Madeleine on Camp Bowie from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 13th. She loved screwball comedies, dancing barefoot, Anne Lamott, Mary Cassatt, and dogs and babies of every description. She loved her coffee steaming hot with chocolate and lots of it. Her politics were liberal, and she always saw the good in everyone. Marianne touched many people's lives. She was an incredibly loving mother and the sweetest wife imaginable. She'll be missed for her grace, warmth, and quiet sense of humor. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to the Arthritis Foundation. Survivors: She is survived by her husband Ken, daughter Emma, and relatives too numerous to list.
